You have probably already heard that God has a wonderful purpose and plan for every person on earth -- also for your life. The secret of a fulfilled life is to understand and live your purpose here on earth. The fundamental reason why people are unhappy and unfulfilled here on earth, is because they do not understand and live God's plan and purpose for their lives.

In the short term many things can give a person fulfillment, but nothing here on earth can provide lasting fulfillment unless you are living in the center of God's purpose and plan for your life! Every fulfilling life experience here on earth, doesn't matter how rich or successful you are in life, or what you have achieved in life, comes to an end and ends on the trash heap of unfulfilled dreams -- unless you understand and live God's purpose and plan for your life!

When a person is young, life looks so challenging. You find fulfillment in many things. Sadly, everything comes to an end, earlier or later. Let me give you one example. The tourism industry is one of the largest industries in the world. People visit other parts of the country and the world on holiday, searching for other places and experiences in the hope to find a fresh experience of fulfillment -- only to discover that they have to do it again next year because the fulfillment of last year's holiday is retained only in an image, video or a thought of the past.

The Purposeless Syndrome

The Bible describes this phenomenon very clearly in the book of Ecclesiastes, of which Solomon, the richest and most successful king of his time, is the author. At the end of his life, Solomon came to the following conclusion: "I, the Preacher, was king over Israel in Jerusalem. And I set my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all that is done under heaven; ... I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and indeed, all is vanity and grasping for the wind."  (Ecc 1:12-14.) Yet, every person on earth follows Solomon's road from birth, only to reach the same conclusion every time -- in this life, nothing satisfies -- unless you have discovered and are living God's purpose and plan for your life!

Every person on earth are born with, what I call, the Purposeless Syndrome. The Purposeless Syndrome is a direct consequence of the fall and is the trademark of the fall. At the fall, Adam and Eve lost their Divine purpose -- and this condition is inherited through natural birth. The Bible calls it man's fallen, sinful nature.

There are two Biblical secrets every person on earth have to understand in order to receive deliverance from the Purposeless Syndrome and to experience lasting satisfaction in life. The first is, you must understand HOW TO FIND God's purpose and plan for your life. Secondly, you must understand HOW TO LIVE God's purpose and plan for your life.

HOW TO FIND God's purpose and plan for your life

In order to find God's purpose and plan for your life, you have to enter into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ by the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit. Do you have a testimony of regeneration? If not, I want to plead with you, for the sake of your eternal happiness and that of your loved ones, do not rest until you have the testimony in your heart that you are born again by the Spirit of God. If you are a born again Christian, the second Biblical secret of deliverance from the Purposeless Syndrome, is to live God's purpose and plan for your life.
